Hey! I’m Corissa, I’m a Momma to 3 wild and crazy kiddos, and am married to my best friend. My family is just like any other family, we all drive each other crazy at times, but let’s be honest, what family doesn’t. My oldest daughter (6) is very much the “mothering” type. She loves to help me with the day to day tasks but sometimes can try to help a little too much, and can become overwhelmed very easily. My middle daughter (4) is the exact opposite, she is very high energy and likes to play hard. Lastly, My son (1.5) is very independent and can play for long periods of time by himself without a care in the world (must be a boy thing?)
Just like you, I have also been down the road of sleepless nights, and felt the exhaustion of it day after day. I felt like I was at my wits end with my second child. It wasn’t until the end of my maternity leave, when I decided I needed to do something about these sleepless nights. My husband & I were both skeptics, but decided to take the leap and hire a Sleep Consultant. Thankfully, she became a lifesaver! The very first night, my daughter slept almost 12 hours, I couldn’t believe it! It was then, I decided that I needed to share the wonderful gift of sleep with other families. This past Fall, I completed the sleep consulting training through Dana Obleman, the creator of Sleep Sense™.
We are told as parents, that children will grow out of sleep issues, but are never told that they can last until the age of 10 (or more)…..Yikes!
Healthy sleep habits start right from birth and will last a life time. I can help coach you to teach your child great sleep habits so that naps/bed time fights will not happen, and evenings will become enjoyable again. Sleep is so important for us as parents, and our child’s health & development, but can easily fall off track during the first few months after birth. Postpartum Depression and Anxiety can set in, and relationships can struggle when we lack sleep. Children suffer when they have a sleep debt, infants can become inconsolable and cranky, while toddlers become “hyper” and behavioral issues can occur.
So, if you’re struggling with the lack of your child’s sleep, I am here to help!
